POLICE WATCH BY WOMAN’S BEDSIDE
UNDER LORRY WITH WOUND IN THROAT HUSBAND AND SON WITH CUTS London. Police officers are watching at the bedside of a woman who was knocked down by a lorry after she had rushed from her house with a wound in her throat. She is Mrs. Catherine Hunt, aged 45, and he is in a serious condition. Besides the throat wound she has several injuries caused by the lorry. A Surgeon’s Kmfe Soon after she had been admitted her husband, Mr. Frank Hunt, and her son, Frank, aged 13, went from their home to the hospital, each suffering from cuts on the head. The sou was detained and the husband was able to return home after treatment. The family live over the surgery of Dr. E, W. Grogono, who is the police divisional surgeon at West Ham. She had acted as housekeeper at the surgery for some years. Recently she has been in ill-health. She was seen to rush from her house into the road, where she was struck by the lorry. The police have taken possession of a surgeon’s knife which is alleged to have been found near, her.
