VERY CLOSE CALL

MEN ALMOST ELECTROCUTED AUCKLAND, May 25. While erecting a mast for a wireless installation at Huntly West on Saturday afternoon, four men. Jack Parkes, Bhana Bula and Henry and Jack Mohi, had a narrow escape from being electrocuted as the result of the mast coming in contact with a hightension cable. Each man received the full voltage and-was rendered unconscious. Artificial respiration was applied with success. ~ It is considered that the fact of the pole being in the ground saved them from death.
