WERE JOBLESS GIRLS HOAXED? SYDNEY, May 22. After hours of weary waiting outside an empty shop in Castlereagh Street, City, last night, over 100 girls, who went there in answer to an advertisement for waitresses, drifted away, suspecting’ that they had been the victims tjf a hoax.
