WARWICK FARM MEETING ON SATURDAY SYDNEY, March 28. The Warwick Farm races were held to-day. The chief results are: Chipping Norton Slakes, of £1,000; miles. —Chide (N.Z.-hred), T. C. Trautweiu, ch g, by Paladin Reproachful, syrs, 8.18 (Cook), 1; Veilmond (N.Z.-bred), 3yrs, 8.11 (McCarten), 2; Tregilla, 3yrs, 8.11 (Cracknell) 3. Also started: Waterline (N.Z.-bred), Catlimar, Clare (N.Z.bred), Balloon King. Chide formed tiie rearguard during the earlier poition of the journey and then came through and won by a length, with Tregilla three-quarters of a length away. Glare was fourth. Time, 2min Gisec, which equals the course record. Warwick Farm Cup, of £1,000; 1 h miles—John Buchan, fiyrs, 8.4 (D. Munro), 1; Troilns, syrs (J. Stanbrhlge, ch g by Lord Quex—Painted Screen, 8.12, won the second division of the Fairfield Handicap, of £3OO, (i fur. from Suntan, 7.5, and Wanderlust, 7.3. Won by a length and three-quarters.
