4- ——- - 4 Flight-Lieutenant G. L. Stedman, instructor for the Wellington Aero Club, has been promoted to squadron leader. The death is reported from Auckland of Mr. J. C. Dromgool, who was a member of the teaching staff of the Stratford District High School twenty years ago.

The Rev. L. J. Boulton-Smith, minister of the Baptist Tabernacle, Launceston, has -accepted a call to the Vivian Street Baptist Church, Wellington. Before going to Tasmania Mr. Smith was pastor of the Roslyn Baptist Church, Dunedin. He is expected to commence his ministry in Wellington in July.
