BOXING
Readers are again reminded of the boxing match which is to take place at the Stratford Town Hall on Saturday evening. The contest is between two of the best known welter-weights of Australia and New Zealand —ITeg Trowern, of Auckland, and Tommy Fairhall, of Sydney. The contest will be of 15 rounds, and each round will be brimful of excellent and exciting boxing. Lovers of the art of self-defence should not miss the opportunity of seeing two of its best exponents in action. This will be a real boxing match, not a hugging contest and intending patrons can rely on being provided with a lirst class exhibition. Some splendid amateur bouts have been arranged and included in this class is Dick Childs, Stratford’s popular little representative.
