The Enterprise wen the fourth race of the series of seven for the America Cup sailed at Newport, thus Tvhining the cup. The Shamrock made a better showing in this race than in' previous ones, and gained a>a early lead, but at the finishing line the Enterprise had a, lead of approximately a mile and a quarter. x
