OBITUARY

MRS KATE ROGERS. The death took place yesterday., at her residence, (Regan Street, of Mrs Kate Rogers, wife of Mr C. H. Rogers. The lat e Mrs Rogers was born in Liverpool and came to Stratford with her husband and family about twenty-one years ago. She was of a quiet disposition, but did a great deal of charitable work iri a quiet way, being always ready with help when there any sickness among neighbours. Mrs Rogers is survived by her husband, one son (Mr C. H. Rogers, junr., of Crown Law Office, Wellington), and two daughters (Mrs George Carter a'nd Miss Evelyn. Rogers) to whom the many friends in the district will extend sympathy.
