DIVIDEND RECOMMENDATIONS. AUCKLAND, July 4. The-directors of the New Zealand Insurance Company have decided to recommend to shareholders, at the annual meeting, the payment of a dividend of one shilling per share for the half year, making Is Fid for the year. The directors also intend to recommend that £300.000 be transferred from the reserve to capital, increasing the paidup caffftaj to £1,500,000. The dividend last, year was Is lOd per share.
