OBITUARY
... M. R. DINGLE. The death occurred at New Plymouth. last night of Mr. Richa'rd Dingle, who was previously wellknown in the Stratford district, havheen chairman of the Stratford Dairy Co. and president of the Stratford A. and P. Association. He occupied farms at Rowan and on Opunake Rd., retiring from the latter some yeans ago to live in retirement in New Plymouth.” Mr. Dingle’s parents were amoPg the early settlers in Taranaki, his father arriving by the William Bryant and his mother by the Amelia r l hompson. For the past few years his health had not been satisfactory and an operation two years ago flailed to bring about a recovery. The late Mr. Dingle was for slime time a member of the Stratford Borough Council.
