The appeal began by an advertisement in the agony column of th e Morning Post asking those in sympathy .with the work and fate of General Koutepoff, who wajs believed to be kidnapped in Paris, to comSmunicate with an anonymous advertiser. Prom a list of answers a rpll of adherents wall be drawn up. They are secretly pledged by the most eacred oaths known, to hold themselves at the disposal of the Russian Monarchist high command as soldiers, sailors, airmen l , dodjors and nbrses.
