Sa^nS I '-' ‘ *'At Stratford to-morrow the Stratford Gun Club will hold a shoot for the Ballastite Cup and also for trophies presented by the Mayor (Mr P. homson) and Mr C. Barker, Eltham. A start will also be made with a new competition involving 100 cartridges, under which each member entering will, at his own convenience, shoot these cartridges, hay 20 to 25 at a time, and when all shooters have completed the discharge of their original 100, the one having dropped the most birds will be declared the winner of th e tro- ■ phy. The, new trap has been in use previously, hut to-morrow it will be officially opened. It, is hoped in future to have shoots as near as possible every fortnight.
