The annual show of the Stratford) Horticultural Society us beins held at the Town Hall on Saturday, and: judging from the large number of inquiries lor schedules it should ho highly successful".

Entries close to-morrow evening with the joint secretaries, Mr W. Harris and Mrs E. Dixon, or may be left with Mr Bert Rawles.

The cake which is the subject of the weight-guessing competition, ia now on view at Carman's, Thoauway,. where tickets may he procured. The cake is a donation from Mrs E. H.’

Young. As usual, afternoon tea null bo provided’, and'uT addition there will be an ice-cream and sweets stall. The doors will be opened at 1.30 p.m. and at ‘2.30 p.m, the chow will be officially declared open by 'thel Mayor (Mr P. Thomson!. The show will he open, from 1.30 t<> 5 p.m. and 7 to 9-30 p.m.
