CRICKET. In th e cricket match played at the Whanga Domain during the weekend, Whanga beat Tahora by a wide margin. A crowd representing Whanga and Kohuratahi, journed by car to Aotuhia on Saturday night to "tincab" Mr and Mrs G. Murphy. A very enjoyable evening wajs spent In dancing, songs and games. Mrs Dean, and family have returned from Ok'ato. Mr and Mrs Steele and family have left for a beach holiday to be spent in New Plymouth. Mr F. Hathaway (Opunake) visited Mr and Mrs Geever during the v r eek-end. Mrs W. Jenkins, of Stratford. railway staff was r.taying wita M* and Mrs H. Kelly this week-eid. Mife Abbot has returned to Ne« Plymouth.
