SCHOOLMASTER'S DEATH

POUND IN YAE.D. SHOT GUN AT SIDE AUCKLAND, Oct. 2. Missed from his bed at about 6 o’clock this morning, Frederick Christopher Braithwaite, aged 49, schoolmaster at Tamaki, was found by his eldest son lying dead in the yard of his home. Beside his body was a shot gun. There was a wound in the left breast. The deceased was clad in pyjamas. It -is stated that during the last few days, Mr Braithwaite had been in ill-heath, but ho had no other worries. Mr Braithwaite was married and leaves a wife and five children. An inquest was opened and adjourned.
