PEMBROKE ROAD.
On Monday night a euchre party and dance was Jiojtii at the. Parisli Hall in aid of the new Hall at Pom'broke. Road. Although it was a vary wet night there was a- largo attendance. The ladies' first prize was won by Mrs Saggers, i)u) second! donated by Ennis 8r05,,, by Waite, and the. third by Mrs J, Robson. The booby prize was won by Mrs T. Kemsley. The gents' first prize was won by Mr Carley, the second by Mr Hartwig and the third by 55&s H. Nieolls. The booby prize was won by Miss Aagaard. The dance music was supplied! by Boulton's Orchestra, extras being supplied by Miss Z. Aagaard. The Monte. Carlo dance was won by Mi- A. Wicksteed and partner. Mr A, Green wnjj M7d. ; Miss Grace Newbold, who has been spending a holiday with Miss Olga Aagaard, has returned to her home at "Waingowroi-o Pond, Cardiff. Miss J. Jones is spending the week-end at New Plymouth. Mrs J. "VV. L. McOormack and her little daughter have been spending a holiday at the' Stratford Mountain, House.
