KING'S THEATRE TO-NIGHT. "LOVES OF CARMEN," Stellar dignity is extremely apparent in the long list of brilliant screen luminaries portraying (the {principal roles in "Loves of Carmen," Heading the cast is Victor McLaglen, whose recent characterization of Captain Flagg- ; firmly established him as one of the most talented players appearing before the camera. in the pivotal feminine role is Dolores Del Rio, who likewise, won millions of admirers because of her portrayal of Charmaine in "What Price Glory." Don Jose is characterized hy Don Alva; ado, a. young screen player. Nancy Nash, who plays Michaela, lias been featured in Fox features and is recognised as one of the filmdom's shining lights. Ben Bard, Mathilde Comont, Jack Bastian and Ralph Sipperly are other established players who portray important roles in the picture. Also a good supporting programme. ' FIRE BRIGADE EUCHRE,, The Fire Brigade puchre tournament was held last night, the prizes being won ty th-2 following: Ladies, Mrs E. Knight 1, Mrs Coward 2; gents, Mr Savers 1, Mr Butcher 2.
