Italy is sending ten racing seaplanes for final practice over the Schneider trophy course in the Solent. Tlie three best performers are being selected for the race on September 7. It is reported the fastest of the Italian machines readied 3GO miles an hour in the preliminary trials. One seaplane has engines in front and rear totalling tw 0 thousand horse power, the poilot sitting between them. —United Service.
