SERIOUS CHARGE
ALLEGED ILLEGAL OPERATION. WOMAN BEFORE COURT. AUCKLAND', This Day. A widmv warned Adeline Pyle was arrested and. charged that on Juno 27 she unlawfully used an instrument on Amelia Gertrude Pipe thereby causing the death of the said Amelia Pipe. Accused; appeared before Mr F. K. Hunt S'.M. and whs remanded to August 5. Bail was allowed/ in £500.’ Miss Pipe who was 23 years of a.ge had been hausekeeping for her father at Waihi.' , She was admitted to hospital there on June fg and died last Friday., morning.
