PART BELOW FLOOD LEVEL. REQUEST TO HIGHWAYS BOARD FOXTON, This Day. At bust night's meeting of i the Chamber of Commerce a resolution was passed calling the Highways Board's attention to> the necessity for raising the Wellington-Auckland main highway above the flood level for the half mile section from the Whirokino bridge leading to Fasten. If this is completed it will obviate through trafiic making a deviation of many miles over the hill road.
