Before the Magistrate, Mr Levvey, .to-day a solicitor namjad Charts Stewart Thomas was charged with, that on or about April 28, 1929, at C*hristchurch, he did wilfully attempt to pervert the course of justice in information laid against John Boyd, Clark, who was charged with negligently driving a motor car and causing the death of Mauren Dori s Mit- / chell. There was a similar charge . against Frank Brear Clark. ' Messrs A. C. Hanlo n and M. J. Gresson represented the accused.
