District Court at Whiter Show. Mr M. Gernhoefer, speaking at the Toko Settlers' Association function on Thursday evening, urged the settlers of the Toko district to again arrange a district court at the . Stratford Winter Show. Last year Toko won the competition in courts, and Mr Gernhoefer said lie had received many congratulations on the effect of the display. The Municipality! and Aviation At last night's aviation meeting the Mayor of Stratford, Mr J. W. McMillan, combated the opinion, expressed by other speakers, that municipalities should help in the provision of landing grounds. On the other hand. Mr ( G. M. Spence, chairman of the New Plymouth Club, mentioned that the city of Manchester England, had recently spent- £45,000 on the purchase of a. landing ground, while almost every town in the United States had its landing place.
