THE WEATHER
CLOUDY AND UNSETTLED. The Government Meteorologist (Dr. E. Kidson) telegraphs as foilows from Wellington : The indications are tor northerly winds, moderate and freshening to ; gale after about 24 hours. There is a prospect of fair "weather, which will probably become warmer later. After about 24 hours the weather appears to become cloudy and unsettled with rain following. The barometer is falling slowly.
