ANOTHER SENIOR TEAM?

CELTIC CLUB PROPOSAL. At bust night’d meeting of the Celtic Football Club Mr J. Fanning moved that it be a recommendation to the incoming committee to enter a senior team. Father; McLauglikin. questioned whether it would he possible to run a senior team. The club was quite a small one.

Members said the prospects were excellent at present. Mr G. Lamplouglf' said there were fifteen disengaged senior players walking about Stratford, and beyond that there were 150 junior players to choose from. Mr McCalman thrfight the. formation of a Celtic senior team would not interfere with the Stratford team.

Mr F. Foley said the public were looking to the Celtic Club to make a move, for a senior team. If they did not have a senior team they were not carrying out the object for which the. club was formed—-to give men an opportunity of getting a game.

Mr Casey said ho wanted to sec a senior team, but he did not want to see it formed too soon.

Mr Fole.fll said juniors no chance of advancement. It was not. able- that last season whenever tho Stratford club called) on jjnuiors to play senior they had made good.
