ANNUAL MEETING.

The annual mating (of mteimjbeirs of the Taranaki Rugby Referees Association was held at Stratford last night. Mr A. H.. Guy, president, was in the chair. ANNUAL REPORT. The annual report (ay digest of which has already appeared In the "Post") and the balance-sheet were adopted without discussion. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. President: Mr J. Scrimgeour (New Plymouth). Vice-president: Mr R. F. Harkness (Stratford). Secretary and treasurer: Mr R. R. Tyre** (Stratford). Auditor': Mr L. J'. Fume. (Stratfordl. Delegate to Taranaki Rugby Union Mr R. R. Tyrer. Delegate to annual conference of the New Zealand R.R. Association: Mr F. J. Bggleton (New Plymouth). On his election as president* Mr Scrimge.our took the chair. ANNUAL CONFERENCE. It was decided that the annual conference on rules, be hold at Stratford on April 7th. NEW RULES. It was. decided that in future copies of ad rulings from the New Zea, land Association be circulated to all

individual members of the Taranalu Association... T.R.U. REMITS. Remits to come before the Rugby | Union wore considered. ! It was decided to instruct the dele- i gate to the Union meeting to oppose, Uhe remit in the direction of debar-j ring referees from holding positions on football club committees. It was also decided to oppose the remit in the direction of restricting school representatives to voting only on such matters as affect their particular grades. The delegate was gfoQn a. "free hand on the matter of Tho classification for the lower grades also on the Old Boys Club's proposal regarding selectors. SYMPATHY. A vote of sympathy in his recent bereavement was" passH 'to Mr T. Petty, and a vote of condolence was passed in connection with the death of the ltae Mr Robert Tait. THANKS.
