VISITORS TO MOUNTAIN HOUffE There have been many visitors at the Stratford Mountain House durthe last week and several trips have been undertaken. On Wednesday last Messrs. O. F. Mackay and A. Snowden, accompanied by Miss Haldane, made the trip to Lake Dive. On Saturday Miss J. Beale and three girls from S. Mary’s School climbed within a short distance oi the summit. On Sunday Messrs. 0: Grubb, N. Johnsin, G. Irving and D. Bullock went round to the western side where they camped for the night. Several reached the summit on Sunday. Amongst these be.ing Messrs. Dwyer, Rogers, Milne, Cross, L. Hempton and party and Mrs. Ryan and party.
