. (Received 9.20 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Three people, Fercival Coffjsy (11), who received a bullet wound in the back, Miss Ester Patched (45), wliio received a bullet wound in the right thigh, and Miss Miriahi! Coflfyy (18), similarly wounded in the neck, were shot while sitting on the verandah of a h'ousia at Lower Ferntlreie Gully near Melbourne In mysterious circumstances. The house is surrounded by tliijclc scrub, of which a thorough search was made. Six shots wejre fired! al^feielher.—Australian Press Assn.
