A Press Association message from Auckland states that in reply to a deputation who urged that steps should be taken to prpvide work for the thousands of workless youngpeople in the Dominion, the Hon. H. Atmore, Minister of Education, said that if there were not the people on the land there simply could not be work in the centres of population. Mr Fletcher, M.P., suggested applying the Flock House scheme to Now Zealand boys, with certain modifications. Mr Atmore said everything turned on the development of the land.
