TALKATIVE IRISH COUNCIL.
TWO ALL NIGHT SITTINGS. LONDON, Memruary G. A meetitng of the newly elected local council at Warren Point, Ireland, had lasted 24 hours; at seven o’clock last evening when beds and mattresses wore brought in for a second all night sitting.
This'is the third time the council h?,(S met to elect a chairman, and been unable to do so because of a deadlock owing to the fact that the factions have six aside. Meanwhile the town’s public services are held
up. The councillors heatedly debate until they are tired. Then they sleep, chat amicably or play cards. Their friends are supplying food.
