A rather unusual and somewhat .amusing incident occurred at about 3.30 this aft.ernoon ; who,n a Ford truck with a big load of hay on which was perched an. elderly gentleman, came whizzing round the comer of Fenton and Juliet Streets. Although the truck negotiated the turn all right the hay did not, hut crashed to the road with the rider still on top. jWhat made it even more humorous was the fact that the driver continued over the railway line before hecoming I aware that he had left most of his i hay and incidentally his passenger in the middle of the road.
