' a prank of an apprentice at the •Port Kembla Power House is leading to a serious industrial upheaval. - Ai a direct consequence the light and power will be cut off to-night throughout' a large section of the South -Coast, and about one thousand workmen will be thrown out of employment. An assurance was given by the Minister of Works, Mr Hutt'enshaw, that if the employees carry out their threat to strike following the dismissal of an apprentice, the Government is in a position to maintain the light and power services in the affected area.—Australian Press Assn. i
