The two young m e n had repaired a %nb& in the car and went to Elthiiin for a drive. Apparently they bad p"t too much air in th« tube, for soon after leaving Eltham they had a blowout. Arith the result that tlife car overturned and Was hopelessly smashed. Both of them were rendered unconscious and were picked up by Mr Oliver of Bird -Road who brought May e hber£ to his homo until such time as the doctor arrived.
