WASHINGTON, January 29
A move to authorise the President to seek a naval disarmament agreement with Britain before any keels of new cruisers are laid was started in the Senate, when Senator Norris (Independent Republican) offered such an amendment to the cruiser Bill. Norris' amendment requests
'the President to enter into an agreement with Britain for limitation of construction of cruisers and aircraft carriers. The amendment will be discussed later.— Argus.
