The Afghan Consulate at Bombay states Annuiullah lias formed a Government at the request of the people of Kandahar, T’arah, Herat, Muzarshariff, Memana and-Kataga.il, with Kandahar as tho capital. The Hazaras Moh mad si and other influential tribes of .Southern Afghanistan have assured him of tlicir support. Bacchasakao ir reported to he short of funds and is extorting money from Kabul merchants. It is considered he will bo deposed in a few days.—Australian P.A.
