WARM AND SULTRY, The. Government Meteorologist (Dr. E. Kidson) telegraphs as follows from Wellington:— The indications are. for northerly moderate, winds and freshening. There is a prospect of fair woather. Expect warm and sultry weather at •first, but later the weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with scattered showers. The barometer is falling slowly.
