WATER IN QUEENSLAND RIVERS GOING DOWN.
TRAINS GET ACROSS. (Received 10.30 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. The flooded Queensland rivers are now falling. The Herbert River, which was four feet over the railway lines at Ingham, is now level with the bridge an# four trains succeeded in crossing. ' The Burdekin River fell rapidly and after the debris was cleared away from the bridge trains made the crossing. The Tully River is now within it’s 1 banks. —Australian Press Assn.
