DOUGLAS SALE. Messrs Newton King, Ltd. report: "There was a good yarding at 1 our Douglas sale yesiterday and everything was sold by the auctioneer. The following prices were realised: Ewes and lambs £2 9 S t 0 £2 10s, wethers £1 16s, hoggets £1 13s, store cows £5 10s to £6 13s, bullocks £8 lis to £l9 12s, culls £lO 10s.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Co., Ltd., report:: We held our usual fortnightly sale at Douglas yesterday, when a small yarding was offered. The prices range as follows:—Fait bullocks £ll, forward conditioned cows £6 17s 6d, good store cows" £6 6s, springing cows from £5 5s to £7 15s, bulls £3 15s to £5 10s.
