CHANGE OF PBOGBAMME

'I he final .screening «f the British War picture “Mons-” took place Last, night. Jt wag rather a shame to see such a small audience for such a wonderful picture. Mr. Luke B. M ilson s rendering of the famous monologue “Spotty” in character, was one of the features of the evening. there will he a complete change of programme to-night when William Maine,si and. VSally O’Neill will be seen in the Baseball Comedy Drama. “Slide, Kelly, Slide.” The. supporting programme which includes a Patho Gazette, and a N.Z. Film depicting fishing scenes of Angler’s Paradise. The eighth episode of the railroad serial “Whispering Smith Bides” will he screened. Altogether tonight;,s programme can be looked upon as one of greatest entertainments. The box plan closes at 7.1 d p.m. sharp.

ST. ANDREW’S CONCERT. There was a fair attendance at St. Andrew’s Hall last night, when a very enjoyable concert programme was submitted. The Rev. J. MacGregor presided. Songs were given by Misses Jackson, Campbell and McCormick, Airs. Pickles and Messrs. J, ; C. McDowell, Gilliver and P. Ait ken. A duet was given by Messrs Gilliver and Taylor and a trio by Messrs. Aitken, J. Weston and. J. Morrison. Miss Vera Ferguson contributed. a piano solo and Misses McElroy and Weston a piano duet. Mr. G. Dick gave a. flute solo, with piano accompaniment by Mrs. Dick. Missi Hopkins contributed a couple of Highland dances, music being supplied by Piper McDonald. Accompaniments were played by Miss "Weston,, Mesdameg A. 11. Musters and Mr. J. Edmondson.

At the conclusion of the programme a dainty supper was handed round. Mr. MacGregor expressed tlmoika to the, performers and especially to members of other churches who had contributed.
