At i Waitara on Thursday, Waitara bent Celtic, gaining a three-point win. Celtic in their first inmn'gg made 37, the only double-figiTre'scorer being Owen (23 not out). The. fell to Easton (6 for 10) and Mcßae (4 for 24). In the.ir second innings the score was 33, Eiudkin (14) being the only double figure, scorer. Easton (6 for 22) and Sfcßae (3 for 11) again accounted! for the wickets. Waitara’s first innings realised 07 (Easton 40, Prior 13 (not out). The wickets fell to Jones (5 for 21) and Drabble (4 for 15). Tbo second strike re.alised 58 for 5 wickets (Friar 17 retired, Mcßae 20 retired).
