OUTSIDE BAND ENGAGED. PROTEST BY] CITIZENS’ BAND. At the weekly practice; of the Stratford Citizens’- Band, held! last night, considerable) dissatisfaction was expressed at the reported engagement of an outside hand for the Stratford races, and the following resolution was carried:

“That this meeting of members oi the Stratford Citizens’ BSjtrl strongly protests against the action of the Stratford Racing *OSb (especially the committee in charge of the musical programme) in engaging a n out■'ido band for its forthcoming meeting. We consider, their action not only an insult to the hand itself, but, an insult to the honorary members, tbo Stratford public geneiially, to 1 the Stratford Borough Council and the controlling body of the hand.”
