ALL-METAL CLOTHES FOR MEN AND WOMEN
MATERIAL PLIABLE. OHEAP AND STRONG ALUMINIUM USED. MADE INTO DANCING' SHOES. (Received 11.0 a.m.) LONDON, November 18. The Despatch says that all-metal clothes for men and women are now possible owing to the perfecting of a Continental process which will enable sheet metal to be transformed into pliable, cheap and strong dress materials. The first experiments with*aluminium have been very successful. Italians are already wearinjg aluminium brocades, while London's smartest people are dancing in aluminium shoes. The inventors are now giving ' their attention to the production of r silk-like woven material for I evening frocks and lingeries.—Australian Press Assn.
