The United Party have already twenty-six seats. * There are also five Tndependenta who will vote with them on (a no confidence motion which brings the United total to thirty-one. The undecided seats number Deform G, United 6, Labour 2. The Reform Party are most likely to lose to the United Party, Mart aura, Temuka, Waitemata and MidCanterbury. The Labour Party are sure to lose Dunedin South to the United Dirty. The United Party ;are likely to lose Ricoarton to Reform. Summing the position up the final figures are likely to bo:—United' 35 Reform 23 Labour 18 This leaves thel United Party to get five votes in the House to have an absolute majority. Sir Joseph Ward will he Prime Minister.
