XXX The Maiden race miglit easily produce a surprise. Rereracana, Dancing • Star and Skyrider may be the ones t'o carry most support.

1 XX Horomea won so well at Waverley and If started in the M.anukau Hack Hurdles will be the favourite. Star Shell and Panorama will carry some support. 2 X X Green Acre, Riotowhero and Shining Star have some form in their favour, and should go well in the Wereroa Hack Handicap, seven furlongs. XXX Arrow Boy, Moutoa, Wonder and The Eoave go well over six furlongs, and may be the public's fancies in the Mako Make Hack Handicap, six furlongs, and should go well. XXX A good field of twenty has been carded for the Levin Cup, one mile and a quarter. Nukumai is on the top of the handicap with 9.0. Pait'onu won this race last year and would have a show if well. Blimp and Royal Game will carry plenty of support. Arrow Lad may not be suited by the distance. Shining Armour has not much form lately. HarOmea if reserved would have a show.
