COLD AND SHOWERY. The Government Meteorologist (Dr E. Kidson) telcgiaphed the following forecast for the 24 Lours from 9 u.m. fco-day:— The imlicatons are for southerly winds, strong to gale, but decreasing. The weather will probably prove cold and showery, but improving. The barometer is rising slowly.
