WOMEN ARE INTERESTED
POLITICS IN STRATFORD r
The lack of interest shown by WO-' men in O.fahuhu recently when Hon. G. JA,Garland, who was to speak to them on behalf of a candidate but whoso meeting did not take place for the very good reason, that no one was there, cannot he applied t.o .-Stratford. There is much evidences to sup-
port the belief that the feminine members of the community are more' interested in the political issue than for a long time past. Many have expressed the desire for a women’s meeting, and arrangements have beenmade for Mr Poison to deliver an address to women cf all shades of political opinion at the Town Hall on Saturday afternoon next. It is anticipated there will be a large attendance from all parts of the electorate, and this should show clearly that women are interested.
