Thu Government Meteorologist (Dr, E. iiidson) telcgiaphed the following forecast for the 24 hor.rs from 9 u.m. to-day The. indications are for; Northerly winds moderate to strong, to strong to gale at tunes and backing by west to south still. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Ham probable. The weather will probably become very cold, but shortly improving. The barometer is unsteady but will be rising soon.
