The chairman reported having «n»do the following appointments during the nion.th: Miss M. B Kdpatrick, assistant, Ohlura; Miss P. McCartic, assistant, Raekohua (Tangnrakim); Mi 8H B. K. Grant, assistant, Pembroke; Miss G. Leech, assistant, Pembroke*, Tlic Manual and Technical Committee recommended the appointment of Miss M. Hottrill as assistant domestic science instructress at Stratford. The senior instructor in agKctul- i lure (Mr K. 0. Bidling) reported that generally the work was being carried on in a highly (satisfactory manner. The architect reported that -plans had been prepared for the remodelling of the Stratford Infant School. On Mr. Kayll's recommendation the application from the Cardiff Tennis Club for tlic lease; of a. portion of the school grounds was granted. The action of the Rangi, Opatu and Douglas- stehool committees in altering the date of the school holidays by a week was approved.
