It is announced that Mr C- K. Lawrie, ex-Mayor of Pukekohe, is a probable candidate for the -Franklin electorate, in the interests of the United Political Party.
Mr Lawrio lias resided for many years in Pukekohe: He is district coroner, a Justice of the Peace and a member of the Franklin .Licensing Committee.
