The crew, who are all unionists, are "being paid victualling allowance. It is understoifT t?ie coolfs are acting under union orders, but it is believed that the trouble will be speedily settled and will not interrupt the resumption of the normal services^ As a counter claim to the marine stewards, whose new log, claiming increased wages and shorter hours, has been submitted to' the Arbitration Court, the owners have submitted a log asking for a general reduction, of wages and an increase in the daily hours of work.
