STRATFORD PLAYERS AT HAWERA. During the week-end a team nf Stratford golfers paid a visit to Hawera where a match was placed. They were very hospitably enteit,ained and an enjoyable time was spent. Results of play are as under, Hawera names being mentioned first. SINGLES. O’Callaghan and Anderson, all square. McKenzie lost to Jeffries. Whitehead and Rutherford, all square. Corfe beat Lyons. Glasson lost to Abraham. Giblin beat L. Curtis. Ryan beat Gaw. Walhley beat Heretini. Ritchie lost to Burmester, FOUR BALL. O’Callaghan and Hay. McKenzie beat Anderson and Jeffries. Whitehead and Corfe beat Rutherfurd and Lyons. G'lasson and Giblin beat Abiaham and L. Curtis. Ryan and Walkley lost to Burmester and Heretini. Ritchie and Meyrick beat Gaw and Fisher. Vinnicombe and Wilson beat Newell and Budge. Bright and Hunt beat Douglas and Hugo. . , Bull and Clarke beat i urne and L. Curtis.
